=MEER Innovation Award

The Photographic Hammer has been awarded the =MEER Innovation Prize for co-creation!

The Photographic Hammer is a collaboration between Atelier Maarten Heijkamp and Machinefabriek B. Eysink B.V.
We are developing the Photographic Hammer; a method to make monumental ceramic reliefs using a gigantic photo camera. The clay tablet as image sensor. Photography, an extremely volatile medium, will meet the timeless nature of ceramics. The Photographic Ceramic Reliefs offer artistic refinement on a monumental scale: an innovative art application executed as sustainable interior and facade cladding.
